Fahid Island

A new coastal island between Saadiyat and Yas, created around beaches, wellness and nature.

Positioned between Saadiyat's Cultural District and the entertainment of Yas Island, Fahid is one of Abu Dhabi's newest major master developments. Aldar unveiled it with a gross development value exceeding AED 40 billion, across around 2.7 million square metres and 11 kilometres of coastline.

More than 6,000 residences are planned, with concepts by Kengo Kuma and Koichi Takada among others, set among beaches, a waterfront promenade, landscaped fitness routes and generous natural space; Fahid is the first island in the world to earn Fitwel certification. The first release, Fahid Beach Residences, is a collection of seven beachfront buildings.
